A fast-growing software-development and management company headquartered on the banks of the Willamette River in eastside, downtown Portland, Oregon, has an immediate opening for a Visual Basic Software Developer for its Viewpoint Construction Software business

Viewpoint is a provider of industry-leading, information-management solutions to the commercial construction market. For over 30 years, Viewpoint's comprehensive, integrated software products and services have addressed every major facet of construction information management.

This position is responsible for developing, documenting, and testing enterprise software applications using Visual Basic for our enterprise construction software solution which includes integrated accounting, project management and operations modules for mid-range & large contractors throughout the United States.

We are seeking local candidates. Relocation expense reimbursement is not available for this position.

Requirements

BS degree in Computer Science or related field plus relevant technical experience in software design and development

Ability to code in Visual Basic and/or C#.

Ability to write complex stored procedures/triggers in Transact SQL

Experience developing and supporting accounting applications and knowledge of the construction industry is preferred but not required.
