Job Description
Installation, maintenance, up gradation and replication of MS-SQL;Managing Security: Implementing an authentication mode; assigning logins to users and roles; assigning permissions to users and roles; planning security; managing application security. Backing Up Databases: Preventing data loss; SQL Server backup; when to back up databases; performing backups; types of backup methods; planning a backup strategy; performance considerations. Provide operational support to key environments including user account management, workflow, and log analysis, troubleshooting and service optimization. Monitor and maintain over 12 Servers in Production, QA, Test and Development Environments. Participated in database migration from SQL server 2000 to SQL server 2005. Proficient in Installing and Configuring SQL Sever 2005. Created the DTS interfaces to vendors in which records were loaded daily, also to other data resources such as Excel, Access, and XML.Hands on experience in implementing and maintaining backup and recovery of the SQL Server 2005 database.
